Over time, homes need repairs, and the City of Indianapolis offers the Homeowner Repair Program (HRP) to help. HRP is designed to help income-qualified citizens of Indianapolis who own and live in their home by providing assistance for essential repairs to keep homes decent, safe and sanitary. The program can also be used for making accessibility modifications to ensure homeowners can live comfortably and safely for as long as they choose.
To apply, homeowners MUST:
- Own and live in the home as their primary residence
- Be the owner of record of the home
- Be current with their property tax payments
- Be income-qualified
