Flap Jacks 5K set for August 4th!
The 3rd Annual Flap Jacks 5K Walk/Run will take place August 4th, 2018 and will benefit the Far West B&O Trail and Indy Gateway. The event will begin at 8:00am at the Ben Davis High School campus. Athletes will enjoy a route that is flat, fast, and 100% closed to traffic. Starting from the moment participants pick up their race packets through the post race celebration they will see familiar faces consisting of friends, family, and many of the great leaders in our community. Also, one of the west side’s favorite breakfast spots, Flap-Jacks Restaurant, will be serving up delicious flapjacks for everyone all right at the finish line! There really is only one way to celebrate the start of another school year in our community, and that is by joining us at the second annual Flap-Jacks 5k.
Indy Gateway is creating a web of support through supporting work such as that of the Far West B&O Trail Association. Proceeds from this event will bring support for the further development of the trail in Marion County and Indy Gateway. More than that, it brings together the community and provides an option on the west side of Indianapolis to be involved in a fun and family friendly fitness event!
Indy Gateway works in conjunction with Racemaker Productions to facilitate this race. Registration will be available in the spring of 2018 through the Racemaker Productions website.
